I'll be honest Aqua, I made the crosses with another kid. With how crowded the graves are getting I'm wondering if we shouldn't go in a different direction.
Why don't we pour one out for each one? Give a little eulogy while we're at it?
[The pause speaks volumes. Camille listens with a keen ear, half smiling by the end. Her turn already?]
Death — uh, Nehan — I heard he was a solid guy. It's pity I didn't get to form my own opinion, but I'll trust the word on the street.
Aventurine, well. He was a man of many charms, and a few mysteries to boot. Interesting guy. Funny sometimes, too.
And um, Boothill. [Oh boy.] I may have found him hard to believe, being so far out of my own reality. But he had a good heart. He was a gentleman. And I can appreciate that.
[She's heard worse eulogies, surely.
Anyway. Camille raises her cup to the air.]
Here's to the lot of you.
[She brings it down and tips it out, slow pour for the graves. Rest in peace, fellas.]

...That's a good idea. Memories are more important than objects, after all.

[TIME WARP they are at the church with grape drink and solemn words at ready. Camille looks to the younger woman, nodding.]
If you want to go first? We can keep it short and sweet.

Death was kind enough to lend us his aid while he could.
Aventurine was companionable, and I think many will miss his company.
Boothill... [ she pauses for just a moment. ] He was a good man. One of my first true friends here.
...May their hearts find peace, wherever they've gone to rest.
[ smashcut to the gy with nuut fighting and pulling on each others hair and then making out for affection week ]
