karlach isn't even going to pretend like she hasn't been crying. she's still crying, actually. it's that sort of dejected, horribly exhausted crying where you still have to like, move, and do things, but you can't stop.

she comes over to sit down. she doesn't say anything, just rubs at her face in frustration.]

Then moves into a sit as well. Staring at her feet.

Camille turns, reaching into her chest from where she sits and pulls out a cut strip of cloth from her robes. She passes it to Karlach in silence.]

[she takes the strip and kind of looks at it, like an idiot.

also, sorry about it - karlach is very hot today. temperature-wise, she's like a fireplace. she's trying to not get too close because of that.]

[Lord she is sweltering today. Camille scrubs at her hair, flipping the side it's parted on.]

Camille brings herself to her knees, reaching for the cloth herself.]

Here. [She dabs at a tear track gone unnoticed.] Is there anything we can do to bring it down?

[she says, a little rough. she allows the dab, though.]

Uh... I don't know. Cold water, maybe. I don't know if we've got any.

I could run to the Refectory? The house, maybe?

[She pats her arm and hoists up with a groan, extending a hand to help her do the same.]

[up she goes, tiredly. she moves a little like she's in pain, but she's used to it.]
