One, and their name is Famine.

[ Mildly. ]

Not all of them, and I couldn't discuss that in detail with you anyway, in accordance to the limits they've told me about. But it's a decent start, isn't it?

It's useful for maybe some backwards puzzle-solving. Find something weird on a Friday that's totally impossible to explain, maybe consult the list and take a shot in the dark.

What were you asking them for? Could just be that I happened to ask the right thing. They're pretty limited in what they can and can't give.

[ Doesn't mention that he also got a pot of lavender from Pesto... Camille... ]

Speculation seems fine. Can't definitely declare any monsters and their respective abilities, unless it's your own -- in which case, mind your weekly allowance.

Don't reveal another person's monster affinity to anyone else unless they know you're doing it. Counts for their limit.

Can't name the powers of the deceased. Their monsters are fine.

[ IT'S FINE THINKS ABOUT THE NUMBER OF THINGS I WAS SUPPOSED TO CHECK DURING TRIAL AND THEN LITERALLY FORGOT WHILE I STROLLED UP TO THE THREADS TO TAG ABOUT IT ]

I'm familiar with most of that list as well. It'd be easier to say what I'm not familiar with, which is the bakunawa, ditto, glawackus, gumiho, koromodako, mothman, oni, and qilin. Of these, obviously I'm aware of what the Ditto does, and I could maybe hedge a guess on what in the world is a Mothman, but I could be wrong.

[ He could simply be told... that it is not in fact... a moth Man... ]

I do think maybe Gale would be someone good to go to for referencing monsters and what they're traditionally known to be able to do, if it suits interests.

Of course, knowing what they do "normally" isn't really a reliable source of information, but if we find something else inexplicable by normal standards in future incidents... maybe we could take a guess so we aren't stuck thinking about it for overlong.

[ I do think a mg power should just be 'detect virginity'. ]

Interesting. It'd be nice if this one could also provide with some future-sight, but we'll see how likely that is. Eventually.

Anyway, I think we shouldn't be too married to what we think of when we say a specific kind of monster, but overthinking it will probably be bad too. Simplest solution and all that -- may as well stick to a thought and stay there until proven otherwise.

I'm personally suspecting the Succubus or Incubus, if we assume love and hate effects are two sides of the same coin here. They seem like similar powers with the same amount of active time, just opposite.

You're correct. They're traditionally demons associated with the practice of seducing others. Female and male variants, respectively.

Reconvene if you do?

Not really.

[ Thinks about it. ]

Oh, thank you for your cooperation today about your injury. Feel free to let me know if it bothers you later.

Suit yourself.

Rest, Camille. Just a reminder from your local one-of-two-doctors.
